      TUNING & BRAKES

 

 

One of the most important things to have checked on a regular basis is your brakes. Many people don't think about it when they are not having a problem. But problems are easy to avoid by having them checked to see that they are not too low. You don't want to get in a situation where you need them and don't have them!

 

Tune ups are important and should be done regularly by manufacturer suggestion. 

      OIL CHANGES
 
Regular oil changes should be done to help maintain the life of your vehicle. Statistics have shown vehicles that have had oil changes on a regular basis perform better throughout the lifetime of the vehicle. 
 
The general rule is oil changes should be done every 3,000 miles or every 3 months, or by the manufacturer suggested interval. If it hasn't been done in awhile, give us a call and bring it in!
 

 

 

       FLUIDS & LIGHTS
 
Knowing how to check all the fluid levels in your car is a plus. The transmission fluid, brake fluid, and oil should be checked frequently to ensure they are at a safe level. Cars with low levels could mean there is an underlying problem that should be looked in to. 
 
Headlights, brake lights tail lights, rear lights, and turn signal lights are often hard to check on your own. By law these lights must all be working properly.
